18th October 2010- Interfrence Technology launches a new Europe guide for EMC
The publishers of Interference Technology (ITEM Publications) have announced the launch of a new, annual Europe EMC Guide. The first edition is due out October 2010. Copies are free of charge.
The new guide will include technical articles, standards information, reference information for EMC organizations and associations, a calendar of European EMC events, and directories of suppliers, consultants and representatives in each country. Interestingly, the guide is divided into “country sections” – the first edition will have approx 12 country sections including Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. Each section will primarily be in the language of the country.
emv’s Dr. Wolfgang Winter and Zuzana Wood provided an article on Time-domain emission measurements for the Czech & Slovak Section. In the German section you will find an article on New Developments in emission measurement technology written by Stephan Braun from GAUSS Instruments.

ITEM tells us they will be updating the first issue several times during 2010 and 2011, and the updated versions of the guide will be available online for free download also.
