emv takes over sales for Pacific Power Source
emv takes over sales of the AC Power Sources from the US manufacturer Pacific Power Source exclusively. Pacific Power Source is a leading manufacturer of programmable AC Power Sources and offers standard products from 500 VA to 700 kVA.
Depending on the application it can be of advantage to use either a linear or switching power source. Pacific Power Sources manufactures both advanced linear and broadband switching types of AC Power Sources. By this the manufacturer is able to provide a well-suited solution for various applications. The corresponding software includes pre-defined test sequences, e.g. for avionics applications (ABD0100, DO160, etc.). Configuration of test sequences and evaluation of results is possible over an easy-to-use user interface.
Upon request customized solutions can be delivered. E.g. standard voltage ranges may be adjusted up or down according to the requirements. The frequency of the output signal can be set between 10 Hz and 5 kHz. Typical fields of application are Test and Measurement, Manufacturing, White Ware, Military, Aerospace, Communication, Industrial and Computers.
Pacific Power Source was founded in 1971 and was an early pioneer in the development of linear solid state power conversion for use in high reliability applications. emv GmbH takes over sales and service for the Pacific Power Source product line from the middle of 2009.
