19th June 2008 - RadiPower: multi-channel power meter for
EMC-testing
With its RadiPower Dare!! has developed a precise, reliable and fast power meter especially designed for EMC-testing.The RadiPower is available with two different power heads for the frequency range from 9 kHz to 4 GHz and from 9 kHz to 6 GHz and has a dynamic range of over 65dB.
With a measurement accuracy of 0,15 dB over the complete frequency range it fulfills the requirements of the actual version of the CISPR-16 and the EN61000 4-3 standards.
Traditional power meters generally dispose of maximum two channels. With a RadiPower card up to four measuring heads can be connected. Thus measurements of the RF power are possible at up to four different measuring points.
The RadiPower can either be integrated in an EMC measuring system based on the RadiCentre or be directly connected to a PC via an USB-interface.
For both versions a control by the EMC-Software RadiMation is possible. Combined with the compact version of the RadiCentre, the RadiPower can also be used as a stand-alone appliance and is a competitive alternative to conventional multi-channel power meters.
