6th August 2008 - EMC Europe 2008 in Hamburg
The international Symposium EMC Europe 2008 takes place from 8th to 12th September 2008 at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg. The Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility is accompanied by a technical exhibition and takes place in different European cities every two years. This year the event is organized by the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg. emv GmbH is sponsoring the conference and takes part as exhibitor.
Out of more than 190 submitted papers around 150 papers were selected for the technical program. The technical program is structured in five thematic blocks: EMC at PCB and Chip level and Signal Integrity, Modeling and Computational Electromagnetics, Measurement techniques (Reverberation Chamber, GTEM Cells, Measurement, Instrumentation and Testing), Transportation Systems (including Aircraft Systems), Transients (LEMP, ESD, EMP and UWB).
On the 8th and the 12th September additional workshops on EMC topics will take place. To create a platform for technical discussion between the presenters and the symposium attendees some of the topics will be presented as interactive poster sessions. The event addresses everybody who deals with EMC, from beginners to EMC experts, from students to academical staff and researchers and industrial system developers.
Exhibition
The accompanying exhibition (9.-11.09.2008) will be connected to the technical topics of the symposium. emv’s booth will be in the area for Measurement Instrumentation & Testing. The admittance to the exhibition is free of charge and independent to the participation at the symposium.
