In 1989Volkswagen AG was one of the first German automotive manufacturers to establish an EMC Test Centre for automobiles and commercial vehicles in 1989. emv GmbH delivered the EMS testing instrumentation including RF Amplifiers from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation. In 2000 the second EMC hall was equipped with EMS testing instrumentation by emv. In 2004 both systems were upgraded with the EMC Software RadiMation Software from DARE!! and out-dated devices were replaced. Harald Schindler, Head of the EMC Centre testifies that emv as experienced specialist for RF and EMC Measurement Instrumentation has developed a well-matched solution and has implemented the project successfully and on-time.
With the Power User Meeting emv has created a forum, where we can feed in our requirements concerning the characteristics and technology of RF amplifiers directly to the manufacturer. AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation picks up these requirements and implements them in new products. In June 2004 a new solid state amplifier from 100 kHz to 250 MHz with 10 kW rf output power came into operation which fully meets our requirements. |
